This week’s Cameo is written by Joel Smith, from Poudre High School.
With a never ending list of things to do, keeping my theatre website and social media up to date was a nightmare. I would fumble with usernames, passwords, and content for five different sites and often found myself sidetracked before I could ever make the necessary updates to keep my community informed. If only there was one place where I could make all of that information available. Enter your Ludus Splash Page—a resource for your theatre community where everything is just one click away.
“Everything you want to do or need to know should be one click away.”
-Joel Smith, Theatre Director at Poudre High School in Fort Collins, Colorado
Joel Smith, a theatre director at Poudre High School in Fort Collins, Colorado has turned his Ludus Splash Page into a one-stop shop for everything Poudre Theatre. Poudre’s Ludus page allows patrons to buy tickets, students to check the latest rehearsal schedule, sponsors to make a donation and buy a program ad, and parents to check out the classes offered at the school. Sending patrons to one website has streamlined communication for everyone.

When communication runs smoother, your whole season does too.
- I’m a parent and want to know about auditions…
- I’m a local business owner and want to advertise in your program…
- I’m an actor and I don’t remember if I’m called for rehearsal today…
- I want to volunteer to usher at your upcoming show…
- I need to pay for my child’s field trip…
WE COULD GO ON FOREVER!
Just imagine, regardless who is looking or what they are looking for, they can find what they need from one single source for information.
